With the perfect mix of antique and modern, you feel you are stepping back in time as you enter the Victoria Angkor. The 1930s inspired architecture gives off the impression you are in a place with deep history and roots within the town of Siem Reap.

As we walked in, we were greeted with cold towels to wash our hands, along with a cocktail of our choosing. This was just the start to the impeccable, and attentive service we experienced during our stay. 

By far my favorite feature of the hotel was the salt water pool. I find these are rare to come by, and definitely a treat I didn’t want to leave. I could have stayed floating all day if it weren’t for the draw of all of the Angkor temples! The pool is surrounded by jungle greenery, and drinks were available to order poolside, always a plus! 

The location of the hotel was unbeatable, only a short ride into town, where we thoroughly enjoyed the night scene of Pub Street and the night markets. The front desk graciously arranged for our transport to and from.

We asked for the hotel to help arrange our tour for the Angkor Temples, and I am so happy that we did. They arranged a top notch tour guide, William, who we were beyond impressed with. William is a trained photographer, so not only did he get the perfect pictures of us, he helped us get the perfect pictures of the sites we were seeing! He was also a great teacher, able to keep us engaged, which was no easy feat! We were so impressed with William and all we learned on our tour, I would recommend him to anyone going to Siem Reap! 

Staying at the Victoria Angkor Resort was a great decision, and I would go back in a heartbeat.
